TWICE's NAYEON returns as a soloist on November 20 with NA-sty, led by the title track "BABY ANGEL". It is her first solo record in two years and five months, and the first one she has released outside of June. Daylight saving time has ended in both the US and the UK by November, so these times use standard time. For US fans, midnight Eastern means the song arrives right as Friday begins, the same day most new music is released worldwide.

What the name means

According to JYP's announcement reported by Sports Kyunghyang, NA-sty blends "Nayeon style", or simply being herself, with the English word "nasty". The idea is a contrast: a bright, lovable side next to a more candid and confident attitude. The title "BABY ANGEL" pushes the same twist, pairing a sweet name with a record called NA-sty.

The intro film, released November 5, shows a book called EVERYWHERE BUT NOWHERE with feathers piling on top. NAYEON, now with blue hair, narrates the story of a mysterious woman who suddenly appears on screens around the world, and the clip ends on a rumor that it is all "a prank by Baby Angel". The feathers and halo motifs in the teasers point to the angel theme.

IM NAYEON made NAYEON the first TWICE member to debut as a soloist, and it reached No. 1 on Korea's Circle album chart. Between records she also sang the Korean version of "Beyond" for the end credits of Disney's Moana 2 (2024) and the OST "Love Is Enough" for the drama Sold Out on You (May 2026). Moving from June to a late-autumn release is the most obvious change this time.

  2. Use only the pre-save or pre-order links posted by those official accounts.
  3. Catch up on "POP!" and "ABCD" to hear how her solo sound has developed.
  4. Set a reminder for the time in the table above. For New York that is midnight going into Friday.
  5. Stream on official platforms. Fan-made re-uploads do not count for the artist.

New to NAYEON?

NAYEON is the oldest member of TWICE and one of the group's lead vocalists. If you only know TWICE's group songs, start with "POP!", the bubbly 2022 single that defined her solo image, then "ABCD" from 2024, which leans more confident. That arc from cute to self-assured is exactly the contrast NA-sty is built around, so the two songs are the best preparation for "BABY ANGEL".

Still unannounced

As of November 7 (KST), JYP had not shared the tracklist, credits, physical album versions or any music show or showcase schedule. TWICE fans, known as ONCE, should expect those details from the official accounts starting November 8. We will not guess at them here.
